It’s no secret that everyone needs to eat and drink to stay alive, so why not eat and drink the best that Koh Phi Phi has to offer? Below are our top places to grab a bite to eat or drink on Thailand’s most popular island.
Top spots to eat:
As the name implies they only serve noodles, but let’s be honest, the noodles in Thailand are epic and could be eaten for every meal. The name could also imply that these are the only noodles you need to eat while on Koh Phi Phi. Yes, they are that good. Only Noodles has that rare blend of taste, price, and location to make for one awesome meal. The reviews online aren’t joking, this is a must-eat if you find yourself on Koh Phi Phi.
Another place that is aptly named because it quite possibly could have the top view of any restaurant on the island, just look at the pictures for photographic evidence. I can’t think of any better place to enjoy a heaping portion of delicious Pad Thai and soak up the beauty of Koh Phi Phi’s famous bays below. Grab yourself a young coconut drink (see below), put your feet up, and just relax. You deserve it after that hike up to Top View. Check out our blog post on Top View here.
This is a nice spot that won’t break the bank while offering you a million dollar view of Koh Dalum Bay. Beacha Bistro has a 200 baht breakfast buffet with fresh juice and made to order omelets. Oh and it is right on the beach.
What to drink on Koh Phi Phi:
This wonderful, delicious and natural, refreshment is literally a green coconut chilled and hacked open by machete upon purchase. The milk within is arguably the most refreshing liquid to ever grace our lips. Nothing quite took the edge off the heat like a young coconut. Plus you can put rum in it…win-win situation right there!
The Only Bar
Not the most “wallet friendly” spot on the island and they have embraced that fact and don’t try to hide that they offer high quality (comparatively expensive) cocktails. What is great about this spot though is the great view it offers from its deck. It sounds cheesy, but this is a great spot to catch a sunset and have a “fancy drink” before you make your way back down to the craziness on the beach.
These famous (or infamous) buckets are available all over the island and have a convenient carry-handle so you can keep the party train moving! If you search around you can find some seriously good deals for 200 baht and will save you a lot of money not buying your drinks from a bar on the beach. Grab a bucket and go check out the fire dancers, it seems like that’s what Koh Phi Phi is all about nowadays.
